B-24 Liberator

'Little Lady' survived the Ploesti bomb run but was so damaged that it was crash landed just over the border into Turkey. All the crew survived the landing and were amazed that the plane did not explode or catch fire because of all the holes. The said it look like a sieve. Crew were interned in Turkey.
