Posted Missing. 1st Lt Frank H Janisch and 2nd Lt Eugene K Franklin in MM761 went MIA while on an intruder sweep of the Padova-Ferrara area. Their Mosquito crashed with Franklin found dead in the wreckage. Janisch was wounded, picked-up by some farmers, but died four-hours later. 1st Lt Frank H Janisch (pilot) and 2nd Lt Eugene K Franklin (nav.) - killed in action.
